The Northwest's premier captioning company, LNS
Captioning, was formed in 1993 as an extension of LNS Court Reporting. LNS
Court Reporting was founded by Carol Studenmund and Robin Nodland in 1987.
Both principals hold national certifications including the Registered
Diplomate Reporter (RDR) and Certified Realtime Reporter (CRR). The company
was founded on the values of excellence and professionalism in captioning.
LNS provides broadcast-quality television captioning, webcasting and meeting
access locally and nationally.
LNS Captioning's offline services group provides post-production closed
captioning and subtitles for the video and film industry. Our work includes
advertisements, museum and training videos, feature-length productions, and
television series. We partner with our clients to deliver the best quality
services and we are flexible to meet the most exacting requirements. Tight
timelines and quick turnaround are not a problem. We can caption for foreign
language productions and frequently work with technical language.
LNS offers cable and broadcast networks, producers, and event coordinators a
complete menu of services, including realtime closed captions for television
and video, Internet realtime streaming, and event captioning. We also offer
classroom captioning for colleges, including medical and law schools.
LNS employs a team of certified, highly skilled and experienced
stenocaptioners who provide services to clients across the nation. All
captioners hold the Certified Realtime Reporter designation offered by the
National Court Reporters Association. Our captioners are adept in the use of
technology to deliver services and we strive to achieve the right "look" for
your project.
LNS Captioning is an approved captioning service vendor for the Captioned
Media Program, Office of Special Education Programs, U.S. Department of
Education.
We look forward to exceeding your expectations.
